Tonic Consulting was founded by Jonathan L. Ridenour, a Principal Welding Engineer and Metallurgical Specialist with nearly two decades of industry experience. As the founding partner, Jonathan’s vision was clear from the start: create a consulting practice that not only delivers technical expertise but also invests in building relationships, training, and long-term solutions for clients.

Jonathan is a graduate of LeTourneau University (2007) with a B.S. in Materials Joining Engineering Technology. Over his career, he has led welding and metallurgical support on global offshore projects, forensic investigations, and fabrication oversight for high-reliability industries. His work has taken him from subsea oil & gas projects in the Gulf of Mexico to structural fabrication facilities across the U.S. and to offshore campaigns internationally.
